What Are the Daily 4 Bet Types?

One of the many advantages of Pick lotteries, like Daily Four Evening, is that you can play your way, every day! Participate in draws from Monday through Saturday, always at 6:00pm CT.

After you select four numbers from 0-9, you must choose your bet type. Daily 4 Evening offers seven options for you to choose from:

• Straight (Exact Order)

• Box (Any Order)

• Straight/Box, Combo

• Front Pair

• Mid Pair

• Back Pair

The bet type and wager amount you pick determine how much you can win. For example, if you choose to enter the draw with Straight on a $1 wager, you’re eligible to win a $5,000 prize. On the other hand, if you pick Box on a $1 wager, you could walk away with a $1,200 prize. This bet type may offer smaller winnings, but the odds are considerably higher! What Are the Odds of Winning Texas Daily 4?

What determines your odds of winning a Daily 4 prize is the bet type you choose. The easiest bet type to win is a Pair, which has fantastic odds of of 1 in 100 . If you’re playing on a $1 wager, you will bring home a $50 prize by matching just two like numbers in the exact order they come up in the draw.

If you’re up for a challenge and winning a (much) bigger prize, try your luck with the Straight bet type. If you beat the 1 in 1,000 chance of matching 4 different numbers in the exact order they were drawn, you will win up to $5,000. This example is just one of the draw’s five Straight combinations, all of which have the same odds and prize.

When Did the Texas Lottery Begin Offering Daily 4?

Texas Lottery began offering players Daily 4 draws on October 2, 2007 as a way to offer new play styles and more ways to win in twice-daily drawings. Since then, the lottery has added on two more daily drawings, giving players a chance at winning daily 4 draws four times a day, Monday through Saturday at 10:00 a.m., 12:27 p.m. , 6:00 p.m. and 10:12 p.m. CT.
